This camera won the TIPA (The BEST COMPACT CAMERA of the Year) award in '96-'97.

The lens is 38mm/F3.9-115mm/F10.5 (3x zoom), 6 elements in 7 groups (one aspherical lens).
The zoom is, of course, a power zoom.
It extends quite a bit with its 3-stage retractable lens.

The flash is automatic, with low-brightness auto flash, forced flash, flash off, red-eye reduction pre-flash, and automatic backlight flash options.
The battery type is lithium CR2.
