Takao Kikuchi, the man who ignited the DC brand boom that swept the 1970s and 80s.
He established BIGI in 1970 and Men's BIGI in 1975, serving as the designer. In 1984, he founded his own brand, TAKEO KIKUCHI. In the 70s, Kenichi Hagiwara, also known as "Showken," wore the brand in the legendary drama "Angel with Bruised Wings." Bruce Lee also wore a Men's BIGI suit in the Hollywood film "Enter the Dragon," which, along with other factors, made the brand explosively popular and started the DC brand boom.
