Vintage 1960's Mexican Eagle Mark 2 crushed chrysocolla sterling silver ring

Vintage handmade beauty with crushed Chrysocolla inlay. Oval sterling with silver rounded lines going through the inlay. Stamped "ML1 925" with and eagle mark 2. Eagle mark pieces are special. The Mexican eagle hallmark was a government-issued mark on sterling silver jewelry and other items from 1948 to approximately 1979. Introduced to guarantee silver quality, it featured an eagle with a specific number inside that identified the manufacturer or assay office where the silver was processed. The system was eventually discontinued due to widespread misuse and was replaced by a new letter-and-number system around 1980, which is still in use today. Size is 4.5. Natural, beautiful patina included. May need a cleaning depending on your preferences. Tested with a neodymium magnet and JSP acid, guaranteed sterling. Two pinholes in the inlay, not really that noticable...see pictures.
